The training “Effective Leadership in Technical Teams” is specifically designed for senior professionals and technical managers who bridge the gap between operational staff and senior management within the technical sector. Whether you have recently been promoted or have been working in a middle-management role for some time, this training equips you with essential tools and strategies.

What you will learn

You will learn how to communicate effectively, manage conflict, and set the right priorities, enabling you to confidently and knowledgeably face the unique challenges of a leadership role in a technical environment.

We explore the organisation’s objectives and discuss its organisational culture.

You examine your preferred communication styles and take part in practical communication exercises to strengthen your skills. The techniques are based on the work of psychologist Otto Rank.

You learn how to manage stress during conflicts and discover how to use personal feedback effectively to resolve conflicts.

You explore your personal values and how to use them as the foundation of your decision-making. In addition, you work with complementary and conflicting values and learn three key Guiding Principles that play an important role in this process.

Discover the role of communication in problem-solving and develop skills to align priorities, facilitate solutions, and adjust direction when needed.

Program

Online preparation
Prior to the training, you will complete an online questionnaire (Culture Compass) about the organisation you work in, along with two assessments. The first assessment maps your preferred leadership styles, and the second determines your Courage Profile.
Classroom modules
After the preparation phase, the programme continues with a classroom module, where we combine theory, exercises, activities, and interaction. Our training integrates various learning methods, including interactive discussions, simulations, role-playing, and personal feedback, ensuring that you can immediately apply the concepts and skills in your daily work.

    The training consists of two half-day sessions and takes place at our location at Rooseveltweg 11C in Almere. No prior knowledge is required to participate. The language of instruction is Dutch. After completing the training, you will receive an official certificate of participation.

  • Pricing

    The investment for this training is €795 (excl. VAT) per participant for individual registration. For an in-company training, the investment is €3,995 (excl. VAT). This includes a catered lunch and the assessment. The minimum number of participants for an in-company training is 6.

  • Dates
